Overview: This is a Varsity only invitational that takes us north of San Luis Obispo. The race starts by winding through the school's fields and dirt tracks, under a gorgeous tree tunnel, through deep beach sand to the amazing view of the Morro Bay Rock. It continues down the Beach (as seen above), skirts the outer edges of the school, then ends with a 200m sprint around a dirt track.
We use this meet as a team bonding event and an opportunity to showcase a college. Last year, we stopped in at UCSB and explored the campus. This year we will be touring Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with one of our former runners, Hannah More!
